  • Properly inspecting and replacing  electrodes

  • Performing a calibration procedure

  • Making 25 total splices using at least 3 types of different splicers

  • Recording splice loss values from the fusion splicers

  • Performing bidirectional loss tests on each splice using an OTDR 

  • Comparing the loss values on the splicer with that of the OTDR readings

  • Compare the loss values between the splicers

  • Great Endorsement for employers to see on an application
